We're really excited to tell all our friends our dream is coming true -- we're opening a second location right in the heart of downtown Columbus at 50 North High Street -- one block from the capitol building near Gay Street. The space is perfect for us -- enough room to enjoy dining in and to accommodate our new ideas!
Our menu downtown will be similar to our original Victorian Village location -- breakfast sandwiches, fresh locally-baked pastries, muffins, bagels and locally roasted coffees. For lunch we'll offer fresh-made salads and soups, dozens of hot and cold sandwiches, pastas and flatbread pizzas. We'll also be offering several take-home dinner options.
Plans for the space include free WiFi, barstyle seating, an outdoor patio and a giant retractable window facing High Street. We want to make things as convenient as possible for downtown workers so we're going to offer online ordering and a register dedicated solely to serving our online and call-in customers. We'll have a convenient 'grab-and-go' cooler with our fresh salads, sandwiches, fruits and desserts, too!
So when is this happening?
We're opening the second week of September 2010. Be sure you're signed up for our emails to get updates and grand opening invitations! The downtown location hours will be: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Finally, thank you for your amazing support of our business over the past ten years. We are so happy with how our business evolved as a community-oriented neighborhood deli. It's because of you that we're able to realize our dream of this new downtown location. We look forward to seeing you very soon both in Victorian Village and on High Street!
